Details: A Hot July!
Simon, Aaron, Alan, Phil and Leighton arrived again this . After last years bad weather they were hoping for better things this year because although they caught well in '07, the constant rain did make life difficult.
Within ten minutes of arriving, Leighton, Phil's son hooked a 32lb Mirror... before he'd even got his bivvy up!
The weather held good for the whole week and they finnished up with 5 x 30's, well over a dozen 20's, and numerous doubles.
Finally as they were packing up, Alan, the only one not to have had a 'thirty' pulled out a 33lb ghostie. Smiles all round!!
First photo is Simon last year - wet through. Bigger smiles in 2008!

Details: Happy New Year!
We'd like to wish all our new and returning visitors a Happy New Year! After our huge netting and re-stock at the end of the year, our lakes are now full to the brim. In January we topped the big lake up with just a few more carp, and also an extra half-dozen small pike to clear the lake of small nuisance fish. So now everything is set for some fantastic fishing during 2008! Bookings are filling up quickly, so if you want to guarantee a place this year then do please get in touch as soon as possible.

Details: Lake Netting
Over the past couple of days we have undertaken a major task to net the lake, and have sold off a large quantity of the smaller fish from this year's incredible triple-spawning! We then transferred thirty-four 20lbs and 30lbs carp from the small lake to the big lake, and also added a few extra carp and pike to the existing stocks. Finally, we did some routine water checks on the lakes, and cut down between 50 and 60 trees in the surrounding area to clear a little space.

Details: Spawnings!
Due to the warm weather, we had an impressive THREE spawnings this season, resulting in many, many small carp in the big lake. Over the winter we plan to net the lake to remove the majority of these. We will also transfer thirty-four 20lbs and 30lbs carp into the big lake, and there will be some more carp and a few pike added to the existing stocks. The smaller lake will then be a great venue for coarse fishermen who wish to indulge their passion for tench, roach and perch.
